- Under Incoming Mail Server Port Number
Recommended – Set the value to 993 and select SSL
Only if Needed – Set the value to 143 and select SSL
- Under Outgoing Mail Server Name – Enter comcast.net
- Under Outgoing Mail Server Port Number
Recommended – Enter the value 587 with SMTP
Only if Needed – Enter the value 465 with SMTPS
- SSL Encryption – Tick the box
- Authentication – Enter your Xfinity username and password
Note: Although you can also use POP to retrieve email, but for the best experience, features and for using the Comcast email account on multiple devices, it is suggested to use IMAP as it lets you keep all your email synchronized in all the devices which is not possible with POP.
However, if you still wish to use POP for certain reasons, you will need the following information:
- Under Incoming Mail Server Name – Enter comcast.net
- Under Incoming Mail Server Port Number – Enter value 995 for POP with SSL or Enter value 110 for POP3 without SSL.
